UW-Madison 3D Electron Microscopy Core Facility.
This facility houses two high pressure freezers (a Leica ICE and a Baltec high-pressure freezer) for preparation of biological samples for transmission electron microscopy and a Talos F200C 200kV scanning transmission electron microscope with both cryo-EM and electron tomography capabilities. This core facility specializes in electron tomography of cellular structures imaged at room temperature.
